The Crisis Line is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service. The Adult Mental Health Division provides trained professionals to help individuals or family members during mental health crises including suicide prevention. For immediate assistance, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Family Intervention & Training Services

Our Family Intervention & Training Services (FITS) provides counseling for individuals and families in need of help with substance abuse and other family concerns. To access this service, call CDFH directly at (808) 545-3228 ext. 34 and ask for Family Intervention services to schedule an appointment. We see families and youth through a fee for service sliding scale program. We also serve youth and families through juvenile drug court and select school-based treatment programs.
