In an effort to support Hawaii with substance abuse awareness, the Prevention Resource Center now has available presentations for the public.  Ice Awareness, Underage Drinking Prevention, and Drug Facts and Awareness are all topics of presentations that are designed to educate parents, educators, and communities.  These 40-60 minute presentations discuss signs and symptoms of substance use; attitudes that contribute to substance abuse problems; national and local statistics; and actions the public can take to prevent substance use and abuse in the home and community.  Please contact the Prevention Resource Center or see the Training and Presentations section of this website for more information.

What's new at the Prevention Resource Center
As the Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource (R.A.D.A.R.) Network, the Prevention Resource Center houses the state’s most comprehensive resources on drug abuse, prevention, and related issues available through its lending library, resource clearinghouse and technical assistance services.  Feel free to stop by anytime or see the Prevention Resource Center section of this website for more information.  One popular resource featured here is the most recent R.A.D.A.R. quarterly newsletter.  Please contact the PRC at (808) 545-3228 ext. 34 / (800) 845-1946 ext. 34 for additional copies.
